Luke is 23.His father is a wealthy,ruthless man.They don't have a great relationship so when an opportunity presents itself for Luke to finally impress his father he decides to go behind his father's back.....with disastrous consequences.





Roman is 32.Good looking,and very successful at what he does.There's bad blood between himself and Luke's father so when Luke sets up a meeting with him Roman sees this as an opportunity to get revenge and kidnaps Luke.

Luke is gay.
Roman is not.

However,Roman cannot understand his attraction to the beautiful young man.I mentioned in my status update that I wasn't happy about having M/F scenes in a M/M book but having read the book it was relevant to understand the conflict Roman was going through.
(there's only one with any description and it's really quick,the others are off page)

The first half of the book is about Luke being held captive.The second half is about how they both cope not being together.

I just found this a bit too predictable.And we're told that while Luke is 23 he only looks 16 and he certainly behaved like a 16 year old at times.And I got tired of him being referred to as the boy constantly.

This series has been a bit hit and miss for me.This was just an ok read for me.
