*** JUST LOVED IT ***

OMG!! I don't know where to start with a review for this.I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest...

There's love,hate,vengeance,secrets,lies but ultimately an amazing story.
This is another story I would advise going in relatively blind.I made the mistake of reading some reviews just after I'd started it and one in particular gave something away which I might of guessed but did spoil the story towards the beginning.
For that reason I'm not going to go into the story




The prologue is very powerful and had me on the edge of my seat wondering which direction the story would take.



The story is told in the past/present and traces the characters young lives to where they are today.The characters are extremely well developed and I loved both the H/h equally.
Skye has had a privileged life but she does not come across as pampered or spoilt at all in fact I loved her honesty and integrity.
The Male lead ( I'm not even going to name him) is a complex character.Dark,dangerous,a tortured soul who in the end I came to love.

The plot might be predictable at times but I didn't care because the writing was simply stunning.I spent a lot of the second half reading through tears,it was so beautiful.




The whole story spans more than 20 years(something I love) as the characters grow,face the consequences of their actions and evaluate on lost years/opportunities.

This is an epic story which I just adored....

You don't always get the treasure by holding on.Sometimes the magic happens when you let go
