I've read a few of this Author's books and have to say this was the darkest..

STORY OF HARPER AND MALACHI







Harper has just been released from prison after serving a ten year stretch for a crime he didn't commit..
Malachi has just left a relationship with a controlling man,lost his job and is living in his sister's box room.They are aware of each other when they are both in the same Store on the day of Harper's release....they meet up days later when Harper is having work done on his house and the attraction is immediate and intense...

The Author did a brilliant job in portraying Harper's struggle with his life outside Prison and the negatively he faces due to his conviction.It's quite hard to read at times,the things he goes through but totally relevant to the story.The sex scenes are very erotic and thankfully not overdone.

Malachi is desperate to prove Harper's innocence and is willing to walk away from Harper so he can get his total freedom from the past.I absolutely adored Malachi...sweet,sexy and so funny

This is a really good M/M book with a very good plot that had me totally invested in the outcome...
